Lambda Iota Zeta comes off two year suspension in the fall but I have not heard if HQ and UW-Whitewater is ready for us to come back or not. Most of that were active at the time of closing have left the School or graduate this spring. I talk to the guys that will be around next semster have move on because the way our aluma treated us right after it happen. They would like to see our chapter come back but we all have alot suggestions to help keep the chapter alive this time. One of the biggest ones is we all believe that the aluma's need to stay more active in the chapter and not to make a joke of the high Rho postion on High Zeta. Has anyone heard anything on what is happening with Lambda Iota Zeta?

Jonathon is there other problems with Greeks and Whitewater? Sometimes GLO and Schools have problems.
I heard something a while back.
Alumni support is a must and the Officership of Rho should be elevated to a more prominent possition for sure. I have mentioned this many times before.
But, it is always good to make come backs IF we can be stronger than before.
I have been conversing with a Brother from UNC St. Un. and he too would like to see a resurgent there.
Keep working, it paid off for me and My Chapter!

So we have two new recolonized chapters being formed in the state of Pennsylvania at Villanova and Edinboro. Interesting, but I would like to see us reopen chapters in states where we don't have chapters like arizona or new jersey. It seems like we are only opening chapters in states where we already have the most chapters at like Texas, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Just a thought.

Good call HONKY, perhaps the fact that there are chapters around to help or big concentration of alumni are motivating factors. How about bringing back some of our older chapters such as Brown or Harvard?

Florida really hasn't gotten that many new chapters. FIU had been a colony before but met with resistance from administration. Other than that I can't think of any real new chapters in Florida.

Daniel, while your point is well taken, it is also nice to have Zetas in the area to be of assistance.
Most GLOs want to be associated with "THE FLAGSHIP" schools=States major Un.
Trust me, there are only 3 Zetas in Kansas but a lot of schools.
It is getting harder each time a new GLO comes to a campus where there are many GOLs there.
It is a thing called MONEY!

What schools would you like to see Lambda Chi Alpha colonize or recolonize at? Just a simple question.

One that's close to ME!
Either Frostburg State in Maryland or University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in PA. Bringing back the chapters at Indiana U of PA and Slippery Rock would be nice too. They've both been gone for over 10 years.
I'd like to see Lambda-Gamma at Lock Haven come back, too, but I'm told it's not likely.

At Schools Near Mine:
Missouri State Un. Recharter in Springfield Mo.
Emporia State Un. in Kansas.
Witchita State Un., Kansas.
NW Mo. State Un., Mo.
SW Mo. State Un., Mo. recharter. St, Joesph, Mo.
Missouri Southern State Un. Joplin, Mo.
Of course it will not happen. Nothing bad intended.
