Um, I believe that would still be considered cancellation. Cancellation occurs for several reasons, one being the stars of the show being unwilling to re-sign contracts, for which reason the producers may decide to stop producing it.

Fine, then I stand corrected. I look at 'cancelled' as having to do with a show that has low ratings. But whatever.

getting back on-thread...
im all for Nick at Nite shows. i'll watch GSN at nite sometimes (i love game shows)
also all the "must-see TV" shows of the 90s (ie. Friends, Frasier, Seinfeld, Mad About You, Just Shoot Me, ok you get the idea)
while i couldnt do it before, i can stand to sit through Family Matters, Full House and Step-by-Step (the old TGIF) now, but at minimum, like 2 episodes max. otherwise i get all weird.

With the Cosby Show, Full House, and other TV shows of the late 80s-early/mid 90s, I've come to realize that I enjoy the earlier episodes more than I do the later ones that lead up to the finales.
Take for instance, the Cosby Show. Loved it loved it loved it when Rudey couldn't even write. Couldn't stand her when she grew up.
Same with Michelle on Full House.

I got my dad hooked on it and he's 65.
My mom still doesn't get it.
