Yes, absolutely....like a Robinson Crusoe'esque "Chunnel"!

Help me because I have a memory like Swiss Cheese: remember in Season I, how Kate and that farmboy friend of hers, they buried a teeny tiny toy airplane or something like that in the ground? Why was she on the run from the law? I seem to remember she was trying to escape the cops while trying to flee from a parking garage or something like that? Did she blow up her father in the farmhouse? I can't remember how/for what reason she strayed to the other side of the law.

In other news, as of this Wednesday, LOST RESUMES IN 7 WEEKS!!!

She was originally on the run for blowing up the house with her father still in it. Then she was on the run for that and for getting her friend killed in the gunfire with the cops when she was trying to escape from the hospital. Lastly, she poisoned her cop husband.
That girl is a real winner.

Ah yes....it is all coming back to me now. THANK YOU!
Eta: I don't think she poisoned her cop husband...I think she merely knocked him out so that she could escape and give herself a head start (because he was a cop and he would get into trouble if he tried to protect her or if he didn't try to stop her). This way, she could tell him the truth about who she really was, and leave immediately after and he was physically incapable of doing anything about it.

Hi folks,

Nice thread and some great observations you have here. I didn't notice anyone else post about the scene where the team that went to steal the sailboat gets back to the others' island, though. When Ben goes to get Juliette to treat the woman who was shot, he says something like, "The sub is back..."

So, apparently that's how they get back and forth (and onto the dock) without being seen.

Oh, and remember, the reason Michael didn't have to leave the main island to "find" the others was that he went to the "decoy" village. That's the one Sayid scouted as well (empty huts, fake hatch, etc).

Cheers,
Paul

LOST Producers discuss series end

I think this is definitely a good thing. I used to avidly watch the X-Files but got bored when it droned on and on. I don't want LOST to end right now but in a few years, when it starts to get tired, then definitely time for them to get rescued, wake up, or die. Whatever the ultimate plan is.

I agree...better to leave us wanting more, than wishing it would end. I hope that they tie up all the loose ends, though.

The producers have stated that they'd like to reach 100 episodes and then call it quits which would give them another 2-3 seasons. I think that's a good run.

how many episodes have there been so far?

really looking forward to feb 7th! the promos looks so intense. Definitely going to have to rewatch some episodes.

And have yall seen the promos for the movie called The Invisible? If not check it out because I was wondering if the main guy in the movie is the undercover cop who busted Locke -- anyone know?

I just wanted to chime in that there have been 6 episodes for far during the "mini-season" that began in the fall. Once the episodes start in Feb, it will go for 17 straight weeks with no repeats, much like "24" does.

I can't wait to see Sawyer again...He is wicked hot...

I got my Dharma hoodie today! I found someone selling Dharma Initiative t-shirts and hoodies online so I bought one of each. A bright moment in an otherwise shit day.

My friend took this as we stumbled home from the bar last weekend:

We saw people in the flower shop at 2am -- but we couldn't get close enough to see if any of the cast was in there.

I was referring to BetteDavisEyes' statement about how the producers are going to call it quits after 100 episodes so what number are we at now?

Okay, yall have to check out the trailer for The Invisible and I really really think that is the undercover cop who busted Locke. agree? disagree?

When LOST comes back on Feb 7th, is that episode going to be for 1 hour or will it be a 2 hour special? Just wondering. I'll be on holidays and must set the VCR accordingly (Yeah, I'm old SKOOL).
