They never give Carrie any balls until she is about to leave the show.

I am happy to see her leave, along with Austin, Phillip, old Shawn, Jack, Jennifer, Frankie, and whoever else.

I ALSO firmly believe that everyone that was killed during the Marlena killer days should have remained dead and Marlena shoulda been Samantha and the REAL Marlena should have been dead ever since the Salem Slasher days.

Can you tell I like change? lol

I saw a Soap Digest (or some kind of soap mag that I obviously didn't buy) cover that mentioned "John's storyline crosses the line." Anyone know what that's going to be. John is probably my least favorite person on the show. And "that's a fact". Is he being written off? I must admit, I hope so.

I'm not liking the newbies, but I guess that's normal.

Will they ever pick a hair color for Mimi? I swear, she's had every conceivable (natural - not blue or green, etc.) hair color.

Maybe my age is showing, but it seems like the stories are all revolving around the kids. I miss the adult lines. Then again, time doesn't really matter in soaps (I remember when Sami kidnapped Belle when Belle was just a baby - that was probably 15 years ago, and now Belle is 25 or something).

Whatever happened to Vivian and Rolf? lol

I agree about John being the least favorite on the show. His overdramatic facial expressions are so annoying. But you got me curious as to whether he's being written off, so I searched and here's what I found regarding who's staying and who's going:

So, I didn't see any indication that John is leaving or dying. But apparently Bonnie is supposed to leave sometime in March (yay!). Also, Mimi won't be around much longer either. And apparently, we've seen the last of Tek and Lexie, who have both been "let go" and their last air date was yesterday.

Abe kicked Lexie out when he found out that she was with Tek the night John was shot. Not only did she lie about bein with him, but she ruined the case against EJ Wells because she lied about seeing him shoot John. It was really Tek who saw it. At the end of the episode, Tek had picked up Lexie and tried to convince her to leave town with him, but she wasn't having it. A car behind them had their high beams on, and a car in front of them was about to hit them head on, then there was an accident.

Farah (Mimi) said in like October/November that she wouldn't be renewing her contract but....

The role of Mimi will be a recast.

I personally loved the Mimi/Shawn relationship. The Shawn/Belle one bugs the hell out of me. They are making Belle exactly like Marlena, a woman who keeps changing her mind on who she loves and then "settles", then goes and cheats.

I'm ready for Willow to be gone as well.

I think Sami is kind of dumb now. She is hiding the fact that she forceably had to have sex with EJ. He was dangling Lucas's life over her head for sex, she made a decision (although probably not the wisest). Who knows.
I have to say that I'm a bit surprised with Sami, I kind of expected her to say that EJ raped her, maybe it's because I'm so used to the "old" Sami who would have said anything to cover her butt. So who knows.

I'm ready for Chelsea to find out that Nick is the "doctor" she's in love with. LOL.

I'm an avid Days watcher and became friends with a guy named "John Black" in college. Another girl and I would tease him all the time to "do the John Black face/eyebrow raise". Needless to say, he would just stare at us as he didn't watch the show...

Also, I'm glad that Jay Kenneth Johnson is back as Phillip.

I thought he looked familiar! I rarely pay attention to the actors' names (bad, Sydney!), so I never would have known for sure. But, when I first saw him I thought, "He looks like Philip used to look... before the RW guy came along."

I think it's funny when people come back - when Peter Reckell came back (although I had liked the other guy, too), when the original Roman came back (I still see this Roman as Dylan's dad from 90210) - none of the characters ever say anything like, "You're looking like your old self again", or something equally corny.

I read the Farah is thinking about staying. She says that she is liking the direction of her character now.

I'm so tired of Phillip. Seriously, why the hell is he spending so much time and energy on finding a child that isn't biologically his? Yes, he is the only dad Claire knew for a time, but he did walk away from her. Oh and it seems like he has completely forgotten about the biological child that the surrogate is carrying. HELLO! Fight for that child instead!

I'm not a huge Willow fan, but I think it is kind of interesting that the writers made her pregnant. We shall see how that plays out.

I forgot about that child, too. I guess I thought she had had her pregnancy terminated. But then, wasn't Bonnie somehow involved with paying her to keep it? I don't remember. They just kinda dropped that storyline, didn't they.

well we aren't the only one's questioning it. Soap Opera Digest listed it in their "picky picky" section of the magazine.

Okay, so WTF!?

WTF is up with Willow's lips?

WTF is up with Phillip's face? Is there a resident Plastic Surgeon on this show?

WTF are Belle, Claire and Shawn doing on an island?

I'm trying to watch this, but it's actually painful. Could someone catch me up on what's going on?
