No, you do not need to attend all seven. If I were you, I would attend the first two or three nights at each house and then see what happens. If the guys want you, they will make a point to invite you back each night. At that point, you can tell them that you would love to, but you have class. On the other hand, if you don't get that sort of vibe, you may consider exploring your other options.

don't go in on the first night and tell this group about your class conflict-it might come off as you are assuming that you will still be around at that point in time. and honestly, you might end up not gelling with this fraternity and might not want to attend any more parties there. just give yourself a little time.

Co-sign with all of these. Since there are seven nights of events, as a reminder I'm reposting something I wrote earlier regarding bids.

Keep it simple and just thank them and let them know you will get back with them by the indicated time. Depending on the campus, and how the IFC rush is structured, a chapter may be able to resend their bid to you. And might do so if they feel you are not interested in them. The chapter that extended you a bid can get this impression (that you aren't interested) if they find out you are hanging out at other chapters and not coming around to their parties.

Rush starts tomorrow and my final decision is to rush for 5 fraternities. I'll name them after 5 continents.
America
Africa
Asia
Australia
Europe

I'm kind of disappointed right now. I had a favorite chapter before the rush started which was "America" but now I don't like them at all. Today in the campus all fraternities had stands and they were handing out brochures, fliers and cards with information about their rush events while this one chapter didn't have any fliers or any information on their events. They had like 8 guys wearing their colors standing there chatting amongst their selves and whenever someone approached them to ask questions or anything they wouldn't even bother stopping chatting with each other and answering questions. Ironically these guys claim to be the first and only "non-secret" fraternity in the nation. I doubt they want to recruit anyone this semester.

I know what fraternity you're talking about, and they're not the only non-secretarian fraternity in the NIC, there are two, the other is AKL. I don't really see what being anti-social has to do with not having any secrets, though. But comming to a new school, you may like the way a fraternity sounds on a website, but you can never know how the guys are going to be until you've met them. I'm sure they do want to recruit people, no fraternity will ever voluntarily not recruit, to do so is stupid move and will kill their numbers, not matter how many guys they already have. Don't be dissapointed, they may act totally different once you go to one of their events. If not, you still said your were interested in four other fraternities, you have other options.

In parts of the world, America is taught as just the one continent and not the two that we refer to it as here in the USA. It's also common to only teach that there are five continents, and not seven, because some nations do not consider Antarctica as a continent either.

I thought the 5 referred to EurAsia instead of 2 seperate continents?

That must depend on where you are from...Europe and Asia are considered two from my understanding of most European educational institutions.
HereICome...sorry to hear about your experience...some people just don't know how to recruit new members, and ignore them instead of getting to know them like they are supposed to. I'd say move on and find other chapters who may be more interesting.

If you didn't click with that group, there's still plenty of others to check out. I'd probably give them another chance just to see if there's anyone else in the group you DO mesh well with, but still...you have options, so I wouldn't worry about it. Good luck!
