Why wouldn't they be given alumnae status? Was the organization supposed to revoke the memberships of the whole chapter because of its size (the reason stated for the closure)? I know few, if any, GLOs would do that to a chapter.

I'll just say I think it's great the other sororities on campus have agreed to hold off on any informal recruiting until after Sigma Kappa is finished with its special recruitment. Very fair-minded of them!
