Contact your national hq and ask them if they've got names of alums interested in starting an association. Perhaps the 'older' alum group knows of alums, like yourself, who are interesting in an alum assoc, but can't make the day-time events. If you've got data on the alums in your area, contact some close to you, tell 'em what you're trying to do, ask them if they are interested in helping - or just joining such an assoc. Set a date for a dinner/happy hour and then send Evites to the women in the age-range you're targeting.

If you have a philanthropic activity, that might also attract interest. We do have dinners like 8 times a year but attract different women when we make dinner at a Ronald McDonald House (ADPi's international philanthropy - so most alums remember having supported RMH as a collegian, therefore they feel comfortable attending this kind of event even if they've not met any other alums previously).
