Rose: My husband finished his master's thesis and presentation!
Bud: Christmas!!
Thorn: My dad found out that he does have to have the defibulator/pacemaker put in; it's scheduled for the second week of January. (But this is not totally a "thorn"; I'd rather he have this in case of a second heart attack.)

Rose=My schedule this semester allows me to be with my son a lot more!
Bud=I'll probably finish knitting my husband's new scarf in the next week or so.
Thorn=I didn't get my reading done for class tonight (because I was knitting ).

Rose: I got all my kids DRA testing done... halleluia. Its tough when you're with them 3 hours total...

Bud: I have some days off coming soon, and it MIGHT snow here!

Thorn: My retention list was a lot longer than I had anticipated.

thought I would bump this up...
Rose: I just finished my midterm exam in Experimental Design. I think I did really well!

Bud: I get to spend some time with my family this weekend. I'm having a St. Patrick's Day dinner.

Thorn: The next month and a half will be a long series of commitments and deadlines. The end of the semester is always so crazy!

Thorn - we (our chapter) are having some growing pains. Anyone know the rules about unofficial elections before march?

I do this with my team at the end of each day!

Rose-i got to be in the classroom today (did some science experiment with kindergarten and social studies with 1st). lead a lesson for 2nd grade (so nervous but went well). Partially because I had people out today so I filled in.

Bud-looking forward to two things: a 1st grader told me he was going to college-presh! And also the inauguration.

Thorn-having a new team member and not adequately preparing her transition. Another team member is pregnant and a third may be fired soon.

Rose: i'm now eligible to take the exemplar degree ritual and will be doing so with a fellow chapter sister next month
