for girls going thru a traditional southern-style recruitment, these examples would be definately whan NOT to wear. on any day. for any reason.

I am particularly a fan of the pref dresses. The description says something that you would wear to church, yet "the girls" are hanging out in half of those pics.

and those outfits did not seem particularly flattering on either of the two models. if nothing else, what the pnm wears should flatter her.

I am not even from the South, and I would never wear those outfits to a recruitment party! I am all for expressing your personality with clothes, but tastefully.

One thing I find particularly funny is on the first page it says "all clothing provided by HERE ON THE CORNER." Sure looks that way.

Wow. Yeah if I showed up Sunday morning in those dresses my mom would tell me to turn my spandex clad butt around and go home and change.

I'd say lean more towards the classic look. Trendy stuff doesn't look good on everyone and half the time honestly I think it looks seriously tacky and/or stupid.

i would have that that spandex + big hair + plaid = guranteed bid from my top house. fo figure! tee hee.

Yeah I hope it is someone's idea of a joke. My personal favorite is the tall girl in the striped dress for round 3. I think if she bent over it would be a crime.
