I think I asked you this before but.... you do know this is fake right? How are you learning more about what a transgender goes through by watching AMC?

Fake? Transgenders really do exist -- check it out on wikipedia.

Not many people are that familiar with it and I think it is great that AMC is exposing us to a social issue that many of us dont know much about. I think it would be so hard to know my whole that I was a male stuck in a female's body...I can't imagine the emotins a transgender like Zarf would feel. Would be hard to explain to family and friends.

I meant the show. I know transgenders exist.

Unconfirmed rumor is that David Canary (Adam Chandler) is leaving the show and will be going to General Hospital. Apparently, two vets of the show are slated to depart.

They're not "vets" but I'd rather see Ryan and Josh leave.

i've been hearing the 2 vets leaving rumor for a while. If it is David Canary, the show will suck even more. You can't have AMC without Adam or Stuart.

So I went from hating Zoe to liking her. But I don't like the setup with the Satin Slayer and the angry town mob thing. I hate Ryan especially. Can he please leave the show?!! And didn't he do this same type of thing when he thought Kendall had shot him and drugged Greenlee. He's always so quick to judge and prosecute.

Heard today that Dixie is going to be the next murder victim. Supposedly she has already taped her last show. I can only hope this is true, can't stand St. Dixie

It seems very unlikely that they would kill Dixie when they've finally revealed that Kate (Kathy) is alive and in Pine Valley.
Right now, Kathy/Kate (and Zarf/Bianca, to a lesser extent) are the only reason I'm watching this show anymore.

I was a AMC fan ever since I was a pledge. If you wanted to watch TV at noon each day, you had a choice of AMC, AMC or AMC. Now I have no desire to even watch it on Soapnet. It used to bother me that some break in a big story would take place during either a class or when I was at work. So far, the last couple of years, there has been no climax to any story that I have ever cared about. What happened to wonderful stories like Cliff and Nina with Palmer always trying to break them up, the wonderful Daisy who knew exactly how to put Palmer in his place, Jenny & Greg with his overly obnoxious mother helping Liza break the love birds up, Angie and Jessie, the triangle between Mona, Charles and Phoebe. These were fun stories, you would count down the moments until you could tune in again and see what was going to happen. Now they keep rehashing old stories, give us horrible characters we can't even begin to form an attachment to or care one hoot about, improbable story lines, change history, etc.

Well, better get off my griping horse.

That's funny! I started watching AMC in college too. When I'd come home for lunch, there were my roommates watching it. Sure enough, I got hooked.

I agree with everything you said. AMC used to have some stability. There was always Joe, Kate, and Mona who would be the loving family.. unconditional love.

There were characters you would root for.. like Nina and Cliff (my favorites!) and Stewart..

There were fun storylines and kooky characters like Opal and the Glamorama, Phoebee and her drinking,

Characters you loved.. like Benny, Daisy, Greg and Jenny, Donna Martin.

Struggles between Palmer (Pete Cooney) and Adam.

I miss Liza (they should have kept her on the show and rekindled the romance with Tad)

Now even Tad isn't fun anymore. He's a murderer and is dark and gloomy.

You're on the money... it's all sensationalism and crazy storylines. Every character is in the "co-ed" jail several times a year and in the hospital several times a year. It's really gone down hill. Bring back my old AMC!
