That was just a preview for next week. The guy from Outward Bound asked her what she was doing. Pretty much they made it seem like she could get fired, but I don't know if anyone's ever been fired while "working" on the Real World.

That was the funniest thing because she was so dumb for doing it.
There have been other seasons where the cast and cast members threatened to be fired. I liked it better when they didn't have the same job and being a cast member was just like having a room mate who you saw when you got home for work (like they did it in Season 1). That's the REAL WORLD.

I agree. MTV just wants to create as much drama as possible though.

Totally agree!
I also think that they go out of their way to find alcoholics or "alcoholics in training." I enjoyed RW more when it had a better mix of people.
I especially liked the New Orleans cast -- particularly watching the transformation of Julie-- the girl who was brought up in a strict Church of Latter Day Saints upbringing.
Watching sloppy drunks make fools of themselves doesn't interest me.

HAHA...it totally interests me, but I agree that some of the other casts had some more depth to them.

Yeah the first few seasons dealt with REAL issues because people didn't completely quit their lives to join the cast. Not saying these newer casts don't have family issues and so forth. It just used to be about so much more than who's a racist, who's gay, who's a kissing whore, who's an alcoholic, etc.
But that's also when RW and MTV had an older demographic of viewers. MTV's shows have changed to reach a different viewership. I miss being able to catch the first few seasons of RW on syndication. They used to come on Fox in the afternoon a few years ago.

It will never be the Real World it was in the first few years. Nothing is more real than Puck or Pedro and everything those shows. I almost wish another station like Lifetime would have a Real Life or something and bring back the days of Heather B, Julie, Pedro, and all the others members that I miss and actually LEARNED from.
