This year we went to the park and had a BBQ, and the Violet sis pairs (bid day buddy) did whatever they wanted - helped the new member buy books, helped them find classes, etc.
We had a BBQ in the park the year I pledged, we learned songs & chants & then went to a drive-in movie later that night.
