Okay I have no idea why I'm reading this thread because I've never seen Legally Blonde and I hate musicals more than just about anything in the world BUT How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days made me laugh even though I haven't seen it either because my boyfriend and I were making fun of me:
Day 1: Get a cat.
Day 2: Get a cat.
Day 3: Get a cat.
Day 4: If dude is still around, get a cat.
Day 5: Get a cat....

LOL run-on sentences are my favorite. It's like I'm so excited to post I can't be bothered with periods and capital letters!!!!
Cats = aliens would explain quite a bit, really. If you gather several in one place (like my house), they develop special powers -- I'm pretty sure they can control the weather AND they can detect tasty food even through barriers such as tin foil or kitchen cabinets.

Friday nights are good nights to rebuke GC and be social. Even cats are social.

That's the thing, though -- the cats have special powers and made it snow a lot, so it's almost impossible to drive anywhere and many places are closed. That means they win -- the warm people are home and the heat is turned up. See, it's all part of their evil plot.

Good thing that I'm a dog person who only associates with other dog people.
Why do humans refer to themselves as "(insert item) person/people?" As if owning a dog, Ford vehicle, or Chia Pet is their defining trait.

I don't know why people do that -- I think many people just like to define themselves somehow. Also, it seems like saying you're a cat person implies that you don't like dogs, doesn't it?
Eh, I have cats and a dog, so I guess I'm crazy either way.

They've been writing and testing a lot of these movies-turned-into-musicals in Seattle, with mixed results. Hairspray was great, and I heard the Wedding Singer was good, but I also saw a couple shows here that they were trying to get to Broadway that left a lot to be desired.
For every new, creative, modern show like Wicked, there are a lot of "Mehhh"s.

I saw it back in February,I don't want to say too much... but I will say it was absolutely HILARIOUS.
It's def. not "classic" broadway or anything... but I throughly enjoyed the time I spent watching it.
They made some changes to the story (of course) which i think actually made the story more believeable.
Has anyone heard the music yet ?? Because I just can't get OHMIGOD OHMIGOD YOUGUYS out of my head.

"Legally Blonde" official B'way opening: April 29. (It's been in previews in NYC for several weeks.)
"The producers of Legally Blonde, The Musical, based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture, announced today that the musical will officially open at the Palace Theatre (1564 Broadway) on Sunday, April 29, 2007."
