Vegas weather is alot like Phoenix weather. And let's put it this way, our average winter temps have been 65-75 (seriously we were at 75 last week). In March, it will probably be high sixities, low to mid 70's. You might get into the high 70's. It just really depends. You won't really need a winter coat (unless you get cold easy). A light jacket, jeans, sweatshirts. I constantly wore my letters (because of UNLV and we have a chapter there).

CA weather, probably more the mid to high 60's and low 70's, because of the ocean. San Diego is a great place to visit (Sea World, San Diego Zoo). Then there is the LA vicinity where there's the Hollywood walk of fame, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Knotts Berry Farm, further north is Magic Mountain. Plus, if you are into checking out your houses, USC and UCLA might be still in session and both schools have houses for the chapters. (I've seen the Chi-O houses at both schools, can't remember anything specific but I think the houses at both schools are beautiful).

Then there is always Texas, tons to do in Texas.

As for me, thankfully being a teacher we get spring break (two weeks). The first week (march 18-24) my mom and I are going on a Mexican Riveria cruise and the second week, I'll just relax (and be sad that I don't get to eat the amazing food that they serve you on the cruises).

JACKETS? SWEATSHIRTS? Are you crazy? That's skirts and flip-flop weather.

Sometimes I wonder how people don't die when they come to the midwest.

LOL that was my thought, too. I know I'm kind of nutty and my people come from the north and all that, but the thought of wearing jeans and a jacket when it's in the high 60s to low 70s had me all WTF.

Couch, most likely.

However, if the stars and planets align correctly, I may go visit friends in either Malibu or Vermont.

The usual. No need to go anywhere for Spring Break because the weather's generally pleasant here.

But DolphinChicaDDD is coming back here for hers...so cheers to that!

I was just gonna say that! If you can afford it, I highly reccommend Waikiki for Spring Break. I could not afford it as an undergrad or as a grad student. But now that I'm older, and wiser, and have a job to spend more money on travel, Waikiki it is!

I'm not in college anymore but I plan on going to Florida with my brother, sister-in-law, and my two-year-old nephew to visit my dad, my maternal grandparents, my paternal grandparents, and my aunt and uncle. My sister-in-law will be about five months pregnant so this should be an interesting trip.

Some of my classmates and I are going skiing. Probably Taos or something like that.

The wife has to stay home because our breaks don't coincide (she's a teacher).
