Hi Chantel,
I was previously VPFD and in my chapter we played a lot of creative games for some pretty good prizes, that always got people excited. Also for chapter loyalty day we decorated the house in wine and silve blue and had a big birthday cake and and dinner and had a sister night where we watched movies and just hung out and bonded. I don't know if any of that helps but games and stuff worked well to get any information across to the chapter because it's not boring and they get a prize out of it!
