He will be missed but his music will endure.

This is so sad. On Saturday night I was listening to a Christmas song that he did.

Soul music and rhythm and blues could never have soared to the heights without this wonderful "Godfather Of Soul"!!

Still love remembering seeing him in concert one time" and when he would be so tired and sweaty and would seemingly start to leave the stage, and he would lean over and his aides would run out and cover him with a cape as the band would play the instrumental part of "Please, Please,Please" his theme song....then, he would get a rush of energy and return and do one or more songs until he could groove no more!!

James Brown is now rocking with the likes of Otis Redding, Barry White, Luther, Lou Rawls, and Wilson Pickett..Heaven never heard such wonderful soulful tunes and voices!!
