The Don's giving a press conference tomorrow that'll announce her fate. Her chances of keeping the crown don't look good at all.
According to this, she's already been evicted from the Miss USA apartment.
Bye bye Tara!

My understanding, albeit amateur, is that pageant contestants basically sign away their rights to be a "real person" for the term of their reign. I know two former Miss Teenage Americas, and both of them had to do so. Both regretted ever going quite as far as they did in the pageant world.
A twenty year old really should understand what a contract is, and how to honor it. It's not as if she's just getting a plastic tiara, there's a LOT of goodies that come with that ONE year of being a role model! If Ms. Connor is unable to control herself for ONE year, she's not a good role model, and not a suitable choice for Miss USA.

Based on this behavior, she should go. Whether we think Trump's rules are right or wrong the fact is she signed a contract agreeing to a certain code of conduct. If she can't abide by what she signed.... bye bye!

The situation itself is pretty unfortunate, but what's the most ironic is what she said in her Miss USA on-stage interview.
When asked by the judge how she felt about young celebrities partying all the time, she said pop stars and celebrities should "tone it down a little."
My, how the tables have turned.

And if I remember correctly I believe she said something about Jesus in schools (?) or something along those lines..... this is hugely ironic in light of those answers......

Lol, you actually think pageant girls believe most of the BS that comes out of their mouths?

I love how Trump treats everyone like an employee.
I guess you could look at the Miss USA pageant as the most cut-throat job interview you'll ever have - although it violates just about every equal-opportunity employment statue there is.

Now I really feel sorry for her.
She gets to keep the crown and is being forced to attend rehab?
If I were her, I would've just took that crown and shoved it up Trump's arse.
AFAIK, the damage is done and unfortunately she'll get to live out the rest of her reign as "the Miss USA that almost got her crown taken away."

Or, "the Miss USA who had to go to rehab." That sounds strange to me--"Miss USA" and "rehab" just don't seem to go together!
BTW, I read several articles online that said she tested positive for cocaine, that it wasn't just the alcohol. It seems as though that if this were true, she definitely would've had her crown taken away...but for some reason, it just seems odd that she would be sent to rehab just for overindulging a little on the cocktails. How big of a drunk could she be? Honestly, I think she should've been fired as Miss USA, simply because--as someone already pointed out--you pretty much sign your life away for the year that you hold that title, and there's a certain code of conduct you're expected to follow. I couldn't do it; therefore, I don't compete in pageants, but if I did, I would do so with the understanding that there would be rules I had to abide by. Besides, I thought the runner-up just looked classier.
I guess ol' Donald is a sucker for a cute blonde.

As Miss USA you can't even chew gum in public nonetheless get drunk or do cocaine. I would say that I'm surprised Trump let her keep the crown but, then again, Trump probably sees her as his next wife......

Can we say PUBLICITY STUNT? Pageants have been doing poorly in the ratings for years. When's the last time Miss USA got this much coverage in the press?

True! True! Now everyone is debating whether or not she should have been given a second chance.
