I watched it but they didn't show the AKAs nor the Alphas....
The Zetas and Sigmas kicked it hard and deserved to win

 | They did show the AKAs. Theirs was an AKABarbie theme. They chose what has to be the most freaking annoying song ever for their entrance: Aqua's "Barbie Girl". If I'm not mistaken it was their Alpha Phi chapter? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I didn't get to see the Alphas.

I saw it all. The airing started with practices and preps and then went into the competition. Basically I thought it was boring, although I do agree with who the winners were.
I would like to know how the competitors were chosen, because if they represented the best than lawd help us.

Ejaffe was that you in the middle of the front line of the military step team? You all were good!

And Shid, leave my soror alone.
I'm thinking this was really shown as promo for the movie Stomp The Yard.

Yes, that was me. We were not in the competition. The army(Stomping on the Yard) sponsors us.

Soulman, So is this the unknown Sigma team that was sponsored by the Army or does the Army have its own step team?

 | I agree!! I stopped watching in the middle of a performance. I know some off the chain step teams that really know how to put it down, primarily on the DST wavelength.

I am convinced that by 2020 someone will try to make stepping an Olympic competition.

I expected this to be filmed how they film cheerleader competitions, with maybe three cameras, NOT SEVENTEEN MILLION! Too many transitions were missed and you didn't get the sense of uniformity.

And Keshia Knight Pulliam's voice is worse that the sound of cats having sex.
 | It was ok and it was good to watch for a Saturday night. I agree with Senusret's part about the editing. I was thinking the same thing, especially went the Alphas performed. And leave Soror Keisha alone!
I really have two beefs with the program. They followed all the other teams around but why they did not follow the sorors from USC Upstate/Furman/Wofford/Converse? I would like to know what it took for them to get there too! And also, WHERE WERE THE IOTAS????

I'm thinking this was really shown as promo for the movie Stomp The Yard. | I co-sign with Soror LG with most of this. It was OK, but could have been a whole lot better. I also know way better teams that some of the ones represented. And why everyone except the Omegas were from the East Coast? They shold have gotten some from other regions.

And they kept showing Stomp The Yard promos over and over again. I think ESPN will show this again when it gets closer to the movie release. And for those of you who have ESPNU they will air it again tonight at 8:30.
