I heard that they were going to use H2O molecules for fuel.
How does that work? Why can't do they that on Earth?
i think if people move to mars, we'll cause global warming on that planet too

Well, here it's much easier and safer to use fossil fuels. But our space shuttles are powered by liquid Hydrogen and Oxygen.
If you have water, you can split it into 'H's and 'O's and those burn like crazy.
On Mars there's no atmosphere so I don't think we could actually cause global warming. If anything we'd cause the creation of an atmosphere...

There is an atmosphere, it's mostly CO2. However, the temperature extremes would be the biggest problem for sustaining life.

Fine fine, atmosphere But a thicker atmosphere would mediate the temperatures....

Well, first the hell with NASA, let a Greek Organization handle it.
Road Trip (Okay Space Trip).
Gosh, here we are still stuck getting the ISS up running and fully built.
One full step at a time.

Oh and I don't remember enough chemistry to explain why using water/ice as fuel is efficient, I just know that since they've been talking about colonizing the moon and finding water on Mars they've been mentioning fuel as a use for that ice.
The other benefit of launching from the Moon being the weaker gravity thus requiring much less fuel.

WHAT!!???
There is an atmosphere on Mars. However, the moon has very little atmosphere.
Also, fossil fuels safe? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Probably safer than whatever demon magic she thinks we'll be using to hydrolyze water and wind up creating energy . . .
