How much should you know about the frat that you want to pledge? If you have been studying up and have great knowledge; how much (knowledge) is too much? what should and shouldnt you say, with out being to cocky. Isnt it good to show the brothers that you know something about the organization and ur not just there to get the letters and the other visible things they have to offer?

Depends where you're at. From my experience being in the south, go in as a blank slate. Talking about duck season or the bowl game will get you a lot farther than talking about when the fraternity was founded. Its easier to go in with the realization that you likely don't know too much about greek life or the fraternity, don't try and show you know things, especially if you really don't.
