 Depends on the area... Usually the mountains of North Georgia get a little snowfall accumulation each year and, the past few years, we've gotten a bit of snow here in Atlanta. It's rare that it sticks, though. And, if it does stick, it only hangs around for about a day or two before melting. 
 
Honestly, it's probably a good thing that we don't get much -- people go nuts around here because they're not use to snow. The minute a snowflake hits the ground everyone hightails it to Kroger to buy bread and milk like we're all about to get a blizzard. 

  We lived in Pennsylvania when I was younger, so my family and I usually just sit back and laugh.  
The bad thing is that most native Georgians have no idea how to drive on snow or ice-covered roads which results in a lot of wrecks.
