Well yeah had I been any one of the groups that was picked on, I'd probably be offended. However it's one thing to go to a movie you KNOW will be offensive and laugh, and another to go to that movie and complain about it.

Are you american... if yes, then you are one of those groups that was picked on, it should little groups for a bigger picture of America. Thats the whole point. You should complain about it, you should talk about it, debate about it, be upset about it. Its the point.

Hmm... I thought the point was to make fun of stupid people and stupid stereotypes and legends (the "Running of the Jews") and for entertainment.

And yes. I'm American. And I like stupid comedies.

Well, the point is to make fun of stupid stereotypes, you are right, and it is a "stupid" comedy, but the intellegence behind it is imense and carries a greater purpose. What you are laughing at, and what i was laughing at was our own country and our own surroundings in which what the outside world precieves is not too far from the truth. When they visit here, those are the people they meet. That is there represtation of America, and that should make you think. In no way am I criticizing (sp) you, just pointing out that there is other layers to the "stupid" comedy

I finally saw it on thanksgiving day before turkey eating.

It was hilirious..."how fast do you have to drive to kill a gypsy?" haha and then that guy said "about 35 or 40" pure brilliance

I think Pamela Anderson was in on it.

Yup, she was. Most of the others weren't though. He even stayed in character to deal with cops.

So I finally saw it last night and the whole theater (packed, I might add, I had to sit at the front which blew) was laughing uproariously throughout the entire film.
I have seen Borat make fun of English people so it was lovely to see him go after Americans instead. His performances at the Rodeo and the dining society were absolutely priceless.
My brother has an ipod mini and I have an ipod. Success! Ipod minis are for girls!
