I know of an Irish Protestant family that likes to use several middle names, too!

I think they did Suri a favor - she's going to be so messed up with the Scientology crap that trying to remember a middle name too would just tax her little brain.

This German Catholic was given/bapitized with one middle name at birth - Jayne, and then when I was confirmed I picked another one - Catherine. Although I think some people in my Confirmation Class just kept their middle name instead of taking another name.

As far as Suri not having a middle name, I don't think it's that big of a deal. Didn't Harry Truman only have a middle initial, and not a middle name, or is that just an urban legend? Besides, this kid has got such messed up parents, I think not having a middle name is going to be the least of her worries.

My parents didn't give any of their 3 kids a middle name. I had no problems growing up with no middle name / no middle initial.

Both my sister & I now use our maiden name as our middle names. And we all gave our children middle names... it's a parents' choice.

As for Suri's strawberry/birthmark - LOTS of kids are born with these & they do usually fade after a few years.

And, I don't know - call me weird, but I don't think it's 100% WRONG for a parent to cover it up with makeup for a major occasion like their own wedding. Daily basis, yeah, that's weird... but I don't think it's so wrong for them to try to cover it up for a wedding.

No one said it was wrong to cover it up for a wedding. No one said it was wrong to cover it up on a daily basis. (Although, I almost feel it would be bad if they DIDN'T cover it up. I am sure the press would love to get a hold of shots of a less than perfect Suri.)

It was the first time I had noticed it. Just wanted to see if anyone else had seen what I had seen. She's a gorgeous child.

At the race I was in this morning, Joan Rivers (too much plastic surgery!) was the mistress of ceremonies. Right before the starting pistol was fired, she said, "Now, we should bow our heads for Tom and Katie, and that little Chinese baby that they adopted. The jig is up--she's not their kid!"

Well, someone is bitter about not having been invited to the wedding...

Her middle name should be Xenu!
