Sean Connery was and always will be James Bond. Dang even in his 70s I love him. And that accent.... it's the Scottish thing I think. Ewan McGregor is Scottish too.

Daniel Craig is SO not Bond like. Bond is supposed to be the epitome of male sexiness and Craig is NOT. I would have preferred Julian McMahon in the role...or maybe I just think he is hot.

Oh, he has the personality. That was probably the best James Bond movie I've ever seen. It was kinda long, but very enjoyable!

I'm going to see it Monday. The only thing I'm leary on was that this new guy doesn't look like a James Bond. James Bond is supposed to look smooth, this new guy looks a little rough.

Even the literary James Bond had that world-weary look to him... scar down his right cheek, among other places. Ignoring that Daniel Craig is blonde, rather than dark-haired, as previous cinema Bonds were, I think he'll do well as 007.

I haven't seen the movie yet. So clearly I don't know if he can pull off a "Bond", but I've seen him in a couple of movies, and he isn't a bad actor.

I kept my tradition going on close to 25 years and watched the latest James Bond film in the theaters opening day. Four words...

JAMES BOND IS BACK!!!!

And opening up a can of whoop ass on the bad guys, wherever they may be.

For once, a James Bond film that doesn't rely on Q Branch to save the world!

I still haven't formed my opinion on Daniel Craig as Bond - he's very different. The film was entertaining though.

As far as the Venetian house - no, they wouldn't have destroyed a patrician house on the Grand Canal. It was done at Pinewood Studios (says IMDB). Also, that's the first time they've let a personal yacht sail on the Grand Canal between the Rialto and Accademia bridges in several hundred years. Fun stuff.

Saw it last night.

I liked it. My fav parts were the opening and closing scenes. Waaaaay better than those cheesy trailers in the theater a year ago made it look.

He was a good Bond. Entertaining. He has a nice body but an ugly face.

I saw it as well, and enjoyed it. Totally entertaining escapist fun.

He does have that um, rugged look about his face. Looks dang good without his shirt on though.

Julian McMahon as James Bond? I'd buy tickets.
