Apparenly, (thanks to my East Coast snoops), Karina does NOT go to congratulate them when they win, has a nasty look on her face, & comments that to her, Mario is the real champion.
Now I'll definitely watch just to see her ugly face & laugh when she loses...the bitch.
However, Mario does handle himself really classy.

She didn't say he was the TRUE champion, she said he was her champion, the champion FOR her.

Some say Emmitt wasn't the BEST dancer but for me he was the most improved and entertaining dancer. He game in knowing NOTHING. No matter what is say those of us who are of age 19-30 KNOW Mr. Lopez, as adorable as he is has SOME dance experience. Maybe not professional but he knows HOW to dance. Emmitt had to LEARN.

Mario was on kids incorporated which was a show that had a lot of dance involved and watching him on SBTB, you know he had some sort of training with ballet & modern dance.

ETA: I just adore Cheryl Burke. She's simply awesome.

I watched a lot of Kids, Inc. and I don't recall him dancing too often -- just "playing the drums".

I love Cheryl Burke. You could definitely tell that she was a patient and organized instructor, and she and Emmitt were definitely perfect for each other. Were those her parents in the audience last night? They zoomed in on a Caucasian dad and Asian mom sitting next to Emmitt's wife and family.

I don't remember seeing them but will never forget that they built a dance studio for her in their home. That studio was enormous & has all her accomplishments on the walls.

I might have been one of the (apparently) very few in the San Diego area who was NOT voting for Mario - I, too, maxed out my emails (and my mom's) in order to vote for Emmitt and Cheryl.

As my mom and I discussed tonight, Cheryl & Emmitt made the dancing look fun; technique-wise, Mario *probably* had the edge, but he was so focused on getting it "right" he forgot to make it look like fun.

SO glad that Cheryl is now a two-time champion!!!

I noticed that too last night! He may have been gracious about losing to Emmitt but every shot there after was a look of "what do you mean i didn't win" he had that cocky look like he had it pretty much wrapped up in a bag and that #$&!@# Karina looks like a total #^$&&*! "Mario's my true champion"......BULL....... I am glad they lost! honey in America we congratulate the winner not shun them because you lost!

I don't know about that!!!! There are bitchy people in any country - it really doesn't have to do with her being foreign.

I just dont like her she looks very snarky and bitchy.....I just don't like her ....its not a foriegn thing she just looks like she is a witch ....for all we know she is proberly very very nice. I just am bias and wanted emmitt and cheryl to win!

I was SOOOO EXCITED when Emmit and Cheryl won!! My mom and I were cheering and giving each other high fives. We are such dorks!!

Cheryl wasn't on the first season and has since won seasons 2 and 3. I wonder if she's going to retire herself from the show to pursue other opportunities?

Before the show she was competing at every possible ballroom dance competition for money. Now, with her notoriety...she doesn't have to compete anymore...she can do whatever she wants now!
