Because like you said, the Chos make dumb moves, repeatedly putting alliance interests above their own. A few episodes ago, the Chos actually waited for Bama and Kentucky to finish a task before heading off to the next clue so that they could all go together. In so doing, they let two or three teams get ahead of them -- not exactly good strategy in a race.
This ain't Survivor. Alliances are not that helpful. If you're going to have them, you do it like the models have done -- working with Rob and Kimberly or the BQs when doing so is in their own best interests but cutting off and going on their own when
that is in their best interests. Or you make an agreement to yield another team or the like (as the models, R & K and the BQs appear to have done). You don't let the alliance control you, like the Chos keep doing.
