UVA greek scene
Hi everyone...i was just wondering if anyone knows about the greek scene at the University of Virginia....in particular the sororities! Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

I met some of my Kappa Delta sisters from the UVA chapter, and they were so sweet! Their chapter sounds to be very strong!

UVA has a terrific greek system! Just like the school it attracts the best and the brightest the campus has to offer.
Are you going thru rush??
If you are please post how it is going over in the rush section. Everyone likes to read the stories of people on the other sie of rush.
Of course I can't end without giving a plug to the terrific Alpha Phi chapter there. They are a strong chapter on the campus have a great reputation and a whole lotta fun!

One of my very best friends transferred to UVA from Penn State and pledged AOPi at Penn State. The sisters at UVA welcomed her with open arms, and she found a new home there. She was very happy with her chapter at UVA, not to mention that UVA has some outstanding alums from their greek system!!

One of those alums is Katie Couric, who was a Tri-Delt there!

I'v heard that the Tri-Delt's are one of the top chapters at UVA, we had a girl that transfered there and absolutely loves it.

Yep, I'm a alumni wahoo and I echo the statements of all that have posted before me. Greek life is great at UVA. Come and visit next semester and you will see that no one here is leading you astray.

UVA SK's
I visited UVA's campus this past fall and was impressed with the very strong greek system. However, I have to get my $.02 in about my own sororoity.  I met my sisters of Sigma Kappa from that campus for the weekend for the first time. I found a great group of super sweet and outgoing ladies! They took the time to show me around even though it was the middle of their midterms and they had little idea of who I was. What a terrific bunch of women!
