Last month there was an article in Woman's Day about collecting used cell phones and sending them to companies to riase funds. Apparently, you can raise a good amount of money this way! Our Spanish Club wants to try it. Has anybody done this?

I haven't any experience doing this .. but these is a club from Sabino High School in Tucson that has signs up in the neighborhood stores asking for old cell phones to be donated.

My chapter does this. You collect the phones and then them to a facility where they are reprogrammed for 911 only calls. The facility then sends us money for the phones.
