Absentee voting is a great thing. No lines and no stinky voting booths! Our Junior Senator is up for re-election and he faces a feisty Republican candidate this year. Every vote counts.
Today I'll be sign waving for a HS classmate running for the State House!

Do they actually ask to see "proof of citizenship"? I heard from some P.I. guy that you didn't, although maybe things have tightened up, given the events of 9-11, etc.
FWIW: wimpy Canada does not ask for proof of citizenship when you vote. SCARY!!
