Just wanted to give you an update on our little beau. As of tomorrow he will be considered full term (37 weeks) so we will just be playing wait and see. He could come tomorrow (though that doesn't seem likely) or he could come as late as mid-November. I'm kinda hoping for a Halloween baby, but whenever he decides will be alright with me.

Yep, we have a name. Most likely his name will be Forest Christopher. On the off chance that he is actually a SHE (I trust technology...but never hurts to be prepared), her name will be Cadence Elizabeth.

EEK! Its coming so soon!!!

I love those names - are you in the same apartment, or did you get a house?

woW!! Time has flown by. I can't believe he is full term already! Congrats!! It will only go by faster from here. Cole is 3mths old already and that trips me out daily. Good luck with L&D. I'll be sending you some easy labor vibes.

We actually had to move back to Pullman. Long story. But we have a really nice apartment here. We thought about buying, but we don't know how long we will be staying here, so for now renting is the better option.

Thanks! I'm getting nervous about the whole L & D thing. The hospital here is really great though and I love our doc, so I'm sure things will be fine.

The Birth Order of Children

Your Clothes:

1st baby: You begin wearing maternity clothes as soon as your OB GYN confirms your pregnancy.

2nd baby: You wear your regular clothes for as long as possible.

3rd baby: Your maternity clothes ARE your regular clothes.

Preparing for the Birth:

1st baby: You practice your breathing religiously.

2nd baby: You don't bother because you remember that last time, breathing didn't do a thing.

3rd baby: You ask for an epidural in your eighth month.

The Layette:

1st baby: You pre-wash newborn's clothes, color-coordinate them, and fold them neatly in the baby's little bureau.

2nd baby: You check to make sure that the clothes are clean and discard only the ones with the darkest stains.

3rd baby: Boys can wear pink, can't they?

Worries:

1st baby: At the first sign of distress -- a whimper, a frown -- you pick up the baby.

2nd baby: You pick the baby up when her wails threaten to wake your firstborn.

3rd baby: You teach your three-year-old how to rewind the mechanical swing.

Pacifiers:

1st baby: If the pacifier falls on the floor, you put it away until you can go home and wash and boil it.

2nd baby: When the pacifier falls on the floor, you squirt it off with some juice from the baby's bottle.

3rd baby: You wipe it off on your shirt and pop it back in.

Diapering:

1st baby: You change your baby's diapers every hour, whether they need it or not.

2nd baby: You change their diaper every two to three hours, if needed.

3rd baby: You try to change their diaper before others start to complain about the smell or you see it sagging to their knees.

Activities:

1st baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics, Baby Swing, and Baby Story Hour.

2nd Baby: You take your infant to Baby Gymnastics.

3rd baby: You take your infant to the supermarket and the dry cleaner.

Going Out:

1st baby: The first time you leave your baby with a sitter, you call home five times.

2nd baby: Just before you walk out the door, you remember to leave a number where you can be reached.

3rd baby: You leave instructions for the sitter to call only if she sees blood.

At Home:

1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.

2nd baby: You spend a bit of everyday watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby

3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.

Swallowing Coins (A Favorite):

1st child: When first child swallows a coin, you rush the child to the hospital and demand X-rays.

2nd child: When second child swallows a coin, you carefully watch for the coin to pass.

3rd child: When third child swallows a coin you deduct it from his allowance.

Baby Pictures:

1st baby: you take pictures of everything baby does (including those first pee's and poo's), think about buying a larger house (one room strictly for pictures)

2d baby: you try to remember to get photos of the important events (birthdays, 1st day of school, wedding)

3d baby: "honey, do we even have a picture of this kid?"

The All-Important Baby Book:

1st baby: Each milestone is perfectly preserved, down to the first lock of hair.

2d baby: The child's full name and birthdate are noted, along with why the child was named as such and any cards sent.

3d baby: "What's this kid's middle name?"

Honey that was too funny!! LOL!!

Well Halloween was actually fun this year...so I thought I would share. ANd of course, Cole 1st halloween costume is a Lion...He'll probably be one again next year since I still have Case's from last year. Case was a puppy dog this year. Here are some pics...

If you want to see the whole event...www.dropshots.com/skerbow

And for our TAMU Aggies....

...there are more at the same site. We went to the ZooBoo and Case and Cole were yell leaders and Emily (my neice) was a Cheerleader!

YES! The doc said it could be any day now (or two weeks from now!). I've been slowly making progress, so we're hoping that he may make his appearance this weekend, but I'll just be happy whenever he gets here!

Still no BabyCoug. Hopefully soon. Well, actually it will be soon. We had a scare with his heartrate last week (it turned out to be ok) but just to be safe, I'm being induced on Nov 14th if he doesn't come on his own. I'll keep you updated!
