You all are hilarious!!!
ETA: This post may appear insensitive to those who have or seek hair transplants. I am not laughing at those people but rather laughing at the thought of someone inquiring about hair transplants so openly when they could seek guidance elsewhere. All in all, there are pros and cons to hair transplants and it is ultimately the discretion of the salon if they 1) offer transplants in the first place and 2) will grant a transplant to a particular person. Viva la wave de la future!!!

But I know that in college, there were a lot of people who really wanted to be a client for HT salons, but for whatever reason, we couldn't. Money, the time to get the transplant, etc. I think that all women who want to fulfill their HT dreams should have the chance. I may even write a book about it to get the word out to the world. I know that given the information publicly, many people would flock to sign up. They just have to be given the chance.
As for my lifestyle - I'm not gay... not that there's anything wrong with that. I just wanted to make sure that that wouldn't be an issue for the HT salon that I am seeking that will hopefully offer me an opportunity to b a client. If you think that being gay will make a good impression, then let me know. I can call up my cousin Hickey & ask him for some people to help me out. He knows all kinds of people & I'll bet that he could find me someone to help coach me if I need it. My cousin Hickey is real proud of me - he says that someday I will be purty enough to marry. But not him, cause he's my cousin. Even though his momma & my uncle (his momma's brother & my daddy's cousin) were once caught in a scandal. But we got that quieted down real good before the family reunion.

I don't think people will think that we are being insensitive. No one should be ashamed of hair transplants - they are the WAVE of the future! I am proud that I am able to put my personal life out there to inspire others, even if it means ridicule. I think that if we got more information out there about HT (as AlphaFrog suggested) that more people would have the opportunity to shop for a salon that they like & think they would best fit in. Which is what I'm trying to explain to Sister Havana, but she isn't getting it apparently

Please don't stereotype the employees and clients of the salons. That is not the way to make a good impression.
AXO Alum, have you thought about Avacor? I hear that advertised on the radio all the time and it might be a good option for you.
Can we stop talking about this? This thread is making it seem like hair transplants are easy for everyone to get, and that's not the case. I think we need to trust our stylists and other people at our salons - they do a good job of getting the people truly deserving of hair transplants.

Proof that you can't always trust your salon:

We have the RIGHT to talk about it. And because that RIGHT exsists, we WILL talk about it.

I'm offended and I intend to report a bunch of people in this thread. I'm just letting you know.

Okay Drole-fillet-o-fishshit. Go right ahead. I know you think that just cos you got your HT via a sponsor on GC everyone should get it but guess what honey? I've had my HT a lot longer than you, I think I know a little more about them and the way they work than you do.

HEY! That is a PERSONAL ATTACK!
You will be reported! And I feel it is necessary to point this out to you in a seperate post that has no other purpose but to say I'm reporting you.
But no matter what, I'll continue to Marine Forward!

Now suddenly you're all for it because you know that no matter what, no one here is going to use your salon. Well you know what? I worked hard to gain membership to my salon, my doctor is very exclusive and you seem to think it's okay to tell people we take anyone. Bite me Alphafrog, and don't think I'm not gonna campaign against your Hair Transplant Forum. That's a horrible idea.
GC is a skewed statistical example of a demographic that have long had their HTs and it will just make it look so easy when it's not.
|
OMG - I didn't mean to cause such a problem here. I just wanted to share my journey with GC & thought I could get some more information this way. I don't think that your doctor is any more exclusive than the others I've called. It may even be the SAME one - you have no way of knowing, do you? So we may end up being side-by-side in the "Results Photo Album" - you can never be too sure.

Avacor is not for me. For one thing, one of the older guys that talks on the commercial I heard on the radio sounds just like John Wayne. And he's been dead for a long time - and I don't think its right to use the voice of dead people. That isn't what an ad should be about. So no, I don't think that it is the right choice for me, although other people are very happy with it I'm sure.
And I think that this thread is making people aware of the journey some of us go on to search for what will complete us in life. We need to know that there are others out there to support us. I don't think that we can trust people who have worked at these salons for years & years - they may not be aware of what we have gone through to fulfill our dreams.

Amen, sister - I am so happy that I will someday be your Hairternal Sister, even if I can't go to your salon.

I think you misunderstood me - I think that JimBob is great, and I would love for you to recommend me. I am sure once they find out what all I have to offer, they will want me for sure. So thanks for getting that right over to me. I am so excited!

I am just going to ignore the personal attacks. I think that it is important to not let them interfere with my dream & with such an important journey. Please don't report people - its just not worth it in the long run. I would rather us all try to get along & bring awareness to my journey. That is what should be most important - helping me to get what I want in life.
