Buffets should be banned!

Explain this- I hate buffets (bad experiences, I guess)....but LOVE the brunch buffets at the Ritz, etc and Indian lunch buffets.

Do you live in NYC? If you do, you should go to brunch at the Essex House one day. It's amazing and an experience in and of itself.

this is ironic. i randomly went to golden corral with my parents last night. My parents are old people so they love buffets, I on the other hand haven't been to one in YEARS. It was a pretty good experience.

it was clean, was NOT crowded and there were only a few (very well-behaved) kids. The steak guy even brought our food to the table because there was a little wait. I only ate one plate before my tummy started hurting tho. My eyes were bigger than my stomach.

Pizza buffets were the shiznit when i was in college.

There are exceptions in every category. I like the buffet at the Whole Foods Market. Very tasty and fresh.
