I don't miss college, but I miss all of my friends from college. And I miss being able to walk into a bar or restaurant or even the library for that matter and knowing that I will know at least one person there. The real world is so much more impersonal!
I graduated from college more than 35 years ago. I was a Greek, and I remembered good times, but I am glad when young people go to my school (New York University) and keep up the old traditions and just have plain fun. I went on to graduate school at Long Island University, started a career and have a family. My college years will always be special, but they are part of the past, part of growing up.
There were alumnae volunteers working to keep your GLO functioning when you were a collegian. Growing up also includes giving back and volunteering. Who are the alumna volunteers today supporting the opperation of your GLO? Why not you?
