If I could go back knowing what I know now, I'd go back in a flash! Who wouldn't like to chuck all of "real life's" responsibilities?!

AGDee - I hear you about the energy!

OMG, how may times do I need to post this!

Yes, Yes, Yes.

I did not know there would be Greek Activities Advisers and if I did, I would have been all for it!

I wanted to work with Young Men and Women, not munchkins.

God, this would have been ideal for Me!

Now, to late!

Me too!

Yes I too miss the days when getting the recruitment skit down and my final at the end of the week were my main worries!
But I had a great time all the time and don't think I missed a thing so I feel like I got the entire package. It makes me happy to think of the new crops every year having more and more fun!

awww yes

Yeah, I miss college. I'm a first year grad student now and I feel so weird. The first few weeks were really rough. I felt so home sick for my "old school". I felt like going home and crying after my first few weeks of class. I remember my first day of school- my big sis called me and then my lil sis called me to tell me how the first meeting of the new semster went. I still get a little sad when I talk to my big sis who moved far away...I really miss her and my lil sis'. But it does get better. I feel better about grad school now

I don't miss college, but I miss all of my friends from college. And I miss being able to walk into a bar or restaurant or even the library for that matter and knowing that I will know at least one person there. The real world is so much more impersonal!

I miss "Little King Fridays" even 20 years latter.

Don't miss the tests or the all nighters

I graduated from college more than 35 years ago. I was a Greek, and I remembered good times, but I am glad when young people go to my school (New York University) and keep up the old traditions and just have plain fun. I went on to graduate school at Long Island University, started a career and have a family. My college years will always be special, but they are part of the past, part of growing up.

Oh Tom, if you live where there is a chpater contact your national office or someone else locally and volunteer to help out. Collegiate chapters are always in need of alum advisors. This country thrives on volunteerism, without it we would come to a grinding slow if not a halt. If eveyone who thought they didn't have time to volunteer for their Greek organization would, then those that already are would have less to do. The more people involved, the fewer tasks each of us have to get done. So get moving. You can do it!
