15 pounds are you freakin kidding me...he was talking like he lost a lot, and that you would notice his weight loss....I'm saying as large as he had gotten, I doubt we will notice 15 pounds......damn, I'm really tripping that he only lost 15 pounds. I have seen people featured there at Duke on Discovery Health, and they lost so much more before they left to go back home. I wonder if he wasn't putting his all into it.......WOW only 15 pounds, and usually I am the first to say a loss is a loss is a loss, but DAYUM....I'm seriously tripping that it was only 15 pounds. I hope that he lost a helluva lot of inches.

I went to college with someone who went to the same camp and when he came back, he was 1/2 the man he used to be. It was a GOOD THING.

If I lost 15 pounds, great. But Ruben losing 15 is like giving a whale a Tic Tac.

Lost 19 pounds at the first weigh in which is approximately 2 weeks or so.

A rapper's wife gave birth Thursday, but the scene quickly turned to tragedy after their newborn girl was pronounced dead.

Rev Run, a.k.a. Joseph Simmons, shocked fans last year when he announced that his wife Justine was pregnant on his MTV reality show "Rev's House."

Justine's pregnancy was the cliffhanger on the MTV show last season. It generated intense interest among viewers who have been anxiously following the pregnancy and awaiting the birth.

Simmons, a member of the legendary rap group Run DMC, was at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood New Jersey Tuesday for the birth of his child. Doctors delivered the baby via c-section, revealing a cruel twist of fate -- the baby girl was born with organs outside the body. The newborn died a short time later.

TMZ has learned that MTV cameras were inside the hospital at the time of the birth, though we do not know if they were in the delivery room.

CT4, I was reading the Parade magazine from the Sunday paper and a question was aksed of what happened to Ruben. Well just so happens that I saw his new video the other day, and it does look like he lost weight. the magazine also stated that he actually lost 40 at the Duke Institute, wich I am very glad about....because if that azz went there and only lost 15 pounds, he really needed to be a shame of himself. In his video you can tell that he lost weight, but he still has a ways to go.

T.O. recently fired his trainer, who gave some insight into what was happening in T.O.’s life hours before he was found by police. T.O. has a 7-year old son. His baby momma would not let him see his son after they had a fight. T.O. was recently dumped by his longtime girlfriend Felisha Terrell. Felisha grew tired of T.O.’s cheating. She hung in there for a long time hoping he would settle down and marry her. When he became close to Actress Sanaa Lathan, Felisha decided she had enough. T.O. met the popular actress at the ESPY Awards in July. She is friends with his publicist Kim Etheridge. Sanaa is best known for the movies Something New, Love and Basketball, The Best Man and Out of Time. She co-starred in Out of Time with Denzel Washington, and their close friendship set tongues wagging. Is Sanaa the new lady in T.O.’s life? She has been spotted in Dallas at the Cowboys training camp, and she was by his side when he was hospitalized. T.O. can’t stand rejection. It’s no fun being Bobby Brown. Bobby Brown is broke with no home, no money and no car. An arrest warrant has been issued for Bobby in Boston because he owes $11 thousand in child support. A reunion between Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake is being planned. The two have not spoken to each other since the infamous Superbowl incident where he ripped off her clothing and exposed her breasts. Janet felt betrayed by Justin, who abandoned her and let her take the heat. Janet and Justin share the same manager, and a reunion may happen at a big event like The American Music Awards or the Grammy’s or the Oscars. I doubt the Oscars, but I could see it happening at the Grammy’s.

The three year custody battle between Michael Jackson and his ex-wife Debbie Rowe is finally over, and Debbie has emerged victorious. Not only will she get to be with her children, but she is getting money as well. Debbie has been through hell and back regarding her children Prince and Paris. She was heavily criticized for giving them away for money. When Michael became involved in one too many scandals involving children, she realized she needed to have a part in her children’s lives. Debbie really loved Michael, but he never loved her. She knew he wanted to be a parent, so she had the kids with a donor. The judge sided with Debbie because she is the biological parent of the children.

Singer Toni Braxton is blasting doctors who misdiagnosed the condition of her three year old son Diesel. Diesel has Autism, a neurological disorder. Toni knew something was wrong with her son, but the doctors would not take her seriously until it was too late.

What has happened to Lil’ Kim’s face. The popular rapper has been out of jail for less than four months, and she has gotten a facelift. She’s in her early 30’s, and sources say she let a phony doctor do work on her face. She looks terrible. In what sounds like a storyline from the Nip/Tuck TV show, friends claim Kim hired a doctor from Mexico, and he performed a face lift on her in her bathroom. A professional, licensed doctor would never do this. Who is the phony doctor who jacked up her face? Kim has been making appearances. At a recent birthday party for Rev. Al Sharpton, partygoers looked at her in shock. Kim ignored the stares as she convinced herself she looked beautiful. Kim! Stop the madness! You look horrible....please stop with the plastic surgeries, and for crying out loud, stop letting phony doctors rip you off!!! Spend your money on a real doctor.


Star Jones has left New York, and she and her hubby Al Reynolds are settling into the Miami area. Star grew tired of the pressures of living in the city constantly being watched. She wants to reinvent herself, and that includes no more scandals. She wants to be a talk show host, and she is meeting with producers daily. Her hubby is currently working on his autobiography. There’s no word on when he will get a job.

An official announcement has yet to be announced, but the marriage is over between Solange Knowles and Football Player Daniel Smith. Solange’s father Matthew Knowles forced his daughter to get married when she became pregnant as a teenager. She and Daniel have a beautiful young son, but they were rarely together since their forced marriage. Solange is currently dating Rapper Lil’ Wayne.

Meanwhile, there are no wedding bells for Singer Chico Debarge and Singer/Actress Nona Gaye. The two are no longer together.

Prince may be the next big name entertainer to sign a long term agreement to perform exclusively in Las Vegas. Prince would be joining Elton John, Toni Braxton and Celine Dion in this exclusive club. Prince has been enjoying the single life. He was recently spotted with two women at The Milan Fashion Show. Look for Prince performing at next year’s Superbowl in Miami.

Patti LaBelle’s long awaited gospel album is coming out on November 21st. The Gospel According To Patti LaBelle, includes a duet with Yolanda Adams.

Krazy gets the boot! Yes, I was wrong. I thought Krazy had it on lock, but Flav showed her the door. The season finale of Flavor of Love is October 15th. It’s now between Delicious and New York. Will New York win, or will she go off and host her own show on VH1? Flavor Flav says he’s tired of dating on TV, and he’s ready to explore new opportunities.

Jimmy Kimmel will be hosting the American Music Awards. The show will air on ABC November 21st. Beyonce and Mary J. Blige are scheduled to perform.

Whoopi Goldberg has been named the new host of Showtime at The Apollo. The show is entering its 20th season.

P-Diddy should be ashamed of himself the way he treats his longtime girlfriend Kim Porter. She is the mother of his 8-year old son, and she is currently expecting twins. In a recent interview, Diddy admitted he wasn’t ready to get married. Dang! How many babies does this woman have to have before you do the right thing? Diddy’s new album, Press Play, comes out on October 17th.

Disney Star Raven Symone has unveiled her new clothing line. The That’s So Raven Clothing Line is available at Wal-Mart.

Who is the real author behind Fantasia’s autobiography Life Is Not A Fairytale? A Ghostwriter who helped Fantasia write the book claims she was never given credit for her work. Fantasia’s dad, Joseph Barrino, claims the book is a pack of lies, and that it was really written by Fantasia’s grandmother, Addie Collins. Joseph Barrino is not happy with this book, and he is planning to sue the publisher for $10 million. Barrino claims the book has a number of inaccuracies including charges that he was hostile towards the music industry, that he is always asking his daughter for money and that his children’s music career was more important than their education. Fantasia went on to win American Idol, and her book was made into a lifetime movie watched by more than 19 million people.


Tavis Smiley’s new book arrives in stores October 10th. My Story of Growing Up in America: What I Know for Sure is a book about his life and what made him the man he is today.

Stars needing rehab immediately include Pop Sensation George Michael, who has been found slumped over the wheel of his car with drugs three times in the last 18 months. He claims he is not a drug addict. Michael is a hot mess. He has ruined his face, his career and his life. He needs to admit he has a problem. David Hasselhoff of Baywatch and Knight Rider fame needs to check into rehab as well. There are no more excuses for his drunk, bad behavior. His publicists need to stop lying claiming it’s his medicine or he’s tired from jet lag. Earlier this year, Hasselhoff made a spectacle of himself at a London airport. He was so drunk he peed on himself. He is currently one of the judges on America’s Got Talent. Let’s hope he goes to rehab before the new season starts.
