Call me cynical, but I'm always concerned when a first post may benefit a person, company or industry.
Please note that the video package is a Video News Release (VNR), probably produced by the insurance industry or a particular insurance company. It is not a package produced by a news organization.
It's the same kind of thing some government agencies are catching some flack for -- PR in the form of news items.
That being said, a couple of the points are good ones.
