I read not only are the actors who play Shawn and Mimi leaving but so is the actor who plays Philip. Can you imagine the hell the producers are going to go through to recast Shawn and Philip? It took me a long time to get used to this new Belle and I'm still trying to get used to her.

I hope they never recast. I have always disliked those characters. Well, I liked Mimi because she was the anti-Belle. But now I hate her too.

Bad news guy's

I just read that due to budget cuts the producers have decided to let Christie Clark (Carrie) and Austin Peck (Austin) go. (Mind you after spending the time to "woo" them back to the show).

Carrie and Austin were the reason I watched the show in the first place and they are the reason I started watching again. I have to say I am bummed. I find it so dumb that they are getting rid of established characters with a storyline to bring in Stephanie (who has no storyline and is just Patch and Kayla's kid), EJ (who the hell is he anyways?), Frankie (yeah, so don't care about him), Chelsea (shouldn't she be dead?) or Max (who is he as well?). What's stupid is I'm sure those people listed above weren't "let go" due to budget cuts when they should have been the first ones on the chopping block. Ugh.

I now hate days. If they are going to send Carrie and Austin off, could I at least get my Carrie and Austin reunion and have them riding off into the sunset together!

Remember that the "nobody" characters probably have the lowest salary, and that's why they aren't the ones cut.

I wanted to like Austin and Carrie, but the storyline is so tired. Honestly, I really won't miss them.

Just found out today that Rachel Melvin (Chelsea) graduated from my HS.

I was a little shocked when I read it in soap opera digest. I got home and then grabbed my younger brothers yearbook and found her pictures in it. So, yep she went there!

I'm bummed there haven't been more Patch and Kayla scenes.
The show brought them back and have really dropped the momentum.
I also don't like that DAYS is hinting at a Patch and Billie pairing.

EJ is a DiMera and has been teaming up with Patrick to torment the Salemites. As if we couldn't see that coming. There's a rumor that he'll also be hooking up with Kate. Shawn will find out this week that he is Claire's father, and Bo and Hope will eventually get back together.

It was obvious that EJ was the gloved one and/or had a connection to Stefano.
I didn't catch the connection to Patrick, as the situation with the babies/Claire majorly messes with his sister.

I think the only reason he's connected to Patrick is because the actor is leaving the show. Which makes me wonder what's going to happen to the baby Hope is carrying, which is his.

Well, makes sense about EJ being a Dimera. I'm not sure why he and Patick would be working together though. Plus, why is EJ now making out with Sami. Dimera's hate the Brady's. We all know this.

I don't understand why Patrick would help EJ switch the embreyo's, he is totally screwing with his sisters life (although I think the embreyo switch is one of the stupider stories on the show right now).

I could care less about Patrick/Hope and their baby, mainly because again I think Hope's pregnancy is a lame storyline.

I don't really care anymore. The last week all they showed was the Hope/Bo/Patrick mess, Chelsea/lab report fiasco, Mimi/Shawn/Belle/Phillip & Jack/Jen. Mind you last week they just had Will kidnapped. Who the hell knows what is going on with that storyline considering last week you didn't see Sami/Lucas/Carrie or Austin. One minute Bo is worried about Will the next he is arresting Chelsea and it's like "Will who". Will is still family and will is still a child who is missing, yet no one seemed to give a shit. Made a whole hell of a lot of sense.

Oops, sorry! I don't get e-mail alerts, so I wasn't aware. I've just seen people making their posts "invisible" and hadn't seen anyone complain about it before, so I figured it was ok.

In answer to LeslieAGD's question, I got this info from message boards whose posters say they got the info from TV Guide. Maybe there is some possibility that it isn't true, but this seems slightly more concrete:
