I made an inquiry, this was the responce:

"Creighton University has chosen to suspended Chi from the campus for no
less than two academic years. Chi will not be recognized before August
2008, and then only if the University is satisfied with the progress the
chapter has made.

The administration took this action in response to several alleged
violations of the Student Code of Conduct. As an alumna of Chi chapter,
you will be receiving a letter outlining all that has occurred.

Please know that we have a plan for re-entry to Creighton. With the
cooperation of the collegians and with the help of some dedicated
alumnae, we will be able to accomplish this goal."

Awww, that's so sad. I'd always heard that Chi was a strong chapter. From the look of your post it sounds like NO is behind the chapter on getting things worked out.

To update, according to TPA's website and the Creighton website, Theta Phi Alpha is recognized again! Congrats ladies, way to beat the deadline!

Yay! Congrats to Chi and all who worked so hard to see their amazing chapter become recognized again!!!

Update: According to InCircle, our Chi chapter had a very successful recruitment to kick off their re-recognization! They finished off recruitment with 27 new pledge sisters!!! (They more than doubled the size of the chapter!)

That's great! The pictures on inCircle are adorable. Do you have any idea what average chapter size is at Creighton? Hopefully we'll be back in that ballpark soon!
