No way. I would never get a tattoo or brand of anything, let alone sorority letters.

as an old broad, i have no desire to get one; however when i was young and dumb i considered it.
two older girls in my chapter have small brands (they were seniors when i was a freshman), but no one from my generation has them... but several from my line and later years have tatoos of letters or symbols "inside" other artwork.

Um...ow.
Tattoos hurt a little, but I can't imagine the pain of a brand. I'm very pro body-mod too.

GROSSSSSSS....
I can't imagine doing that, especially since scarring can be so erratic, it would be hard to say what a brand would actually end up looking like after it fully healed. Add that to the fact that burns are so horribly painful and prone to infection, I would never ever ever get one.
I heard there was a porn star with her sorority letters tattooed on her butt...I think she's a Tri-Sigma? I don't think I'd be too pleased if I were a member of Tri-Sigma nationals!!!

Ugh, don't remind me about this!
I have a small violet tat on my ankle, but i got it mostly because the violet (while it was Sigma's flower) was my grandma's favorite flower and we were very close. I am pretty pro inking and mods, but I draw the line at thinking of branding. It just seems like a bad idea to me.

One AXiD at my school had a tattoo of TFJ and her family symbol, a ladybug, on her shoulder. It seemed kinda trashy to me... I dunno.
I've briefly thought about a tattoo with my letters but I couldn't think of a way that I would ever want my grandkids to see. Does that make sense? hehehe.

I don't know why but this made me laugh my ass off.

I'll pass. Thanks.
A couple of my sisters did have little heart or dove tattoos, but I think even the most liberal among them would draw the line somewhere before branding.
