I dont like the whole blog and news feed thing at all. However, it's not a big deal when compared to the fact that facebook is selling our information to 3rd parties. That, to me, is going too far.
Anywho, I've moved on from facebook and myspace account is going to be deleted soon (again!).

Yes but we have learned from Dateline that they're sluttier because they are 12 years old!

I actually like it. Am I alone in this? It's much easier to have all the information at a glance instead of clicking on people's profiles to see what they updated.

i just wish they'd move the mini-feeds to a less obtrusive position, like where they moved pictures and groups to, and then put the pics and groups back where they were.

Apparently all those petition and anti-feed groups paid off - showing up on my homepage of facebook (and I assume everyone else's) is a letter from the creater of the site. He apologizes for making so many people upset about the News Feed, and clarifies ways to increase your privacy control. I thought it was a well-written memo...and I'm always impressed when a party recognizes and addresses the concerns of the people its affecting. It seems like he's working hard to keep with his vision for facebook and still keep peace with its members.

I'm glad they set up some new privacy settings for the mini feed. The only thing I didnt like was people seeing who's walls I had signed.

It's a shame that these college-aged kids would prefer to show their activism as a result of something they didn't like about Facebook. How petty can you get?
I can think of other, more important issues to voice protest.

A sign of the times, I guess.

Hopefully this will be a lesson showing that they actually CAN make a difference if they band together.

i log in once in a while. but i think its funny when it says "so and so are now friends." it makes it seem like the two got into a fight and now just made up.
