and lets be honest - dudes only took them for the condoms, chicks took them for the pads/tampons.

for some reason, the ones they gave out in college had ramen noodles in them.definitely kept that as backup midnite food.

Doesn't NYU hand out condoms like crazy? Freshman year I went to sexploration with my friend.

We never solicited for stuff, but (Boys stop reading) our chapter got a huge box of free tampons. The Tampax Pearl ones too. And despite a minor spat about how the DON'T really cause TSS (when used properly of course) they went over very well. AND I ended up w/ the box because I lived in the Greek Dorm and I didn't have to buy tampons for the next 2 years.

(Boys may resume reading) But we didn't fill out surveys.

We got free face wash/cream/etc stuff too.

Hi ladies -

Just wanted to clarify about the Schick Quattro program - we are not looking to exploit the sororities at all, you have my word! We are honestly giving away 340 individually wrapped, store ready razors - no matter how many girls are in your chapter - in exhange for a few super quick, totally simple opinions on the product. None of the contact info supplied to us will be used anywhere else (guaranteed) other than to ship the boxes to you. Once the razors are delivered and the feedback is received, your sorority is free of us until we give away hundreds of razors next year!

In terms of why Schick is looking for Sorority girls specifically - I believe it is in hopes that it will create a groundswell of interest within your community - raising brand awareness - and ultimately increasing sales. As I am sure you know, you are a highly influential group within your demographic - Greeks have such an amazing positive impact on their peer group - that is why enormous corporations want you to be down with you!

I completely understand that gut instinct is to assume that their are strings attached to any offer of this nature - but I promise you that with this promotion that is not the case. I have received lots of responses from the post I made here yesterday and I can only hope I get a bunch more! Seriously, all my job entails here is to hook you all up with free stuff - who doesn't love that?!

You'd do better to contact schools specifically. If you contacted the Greek Life office at my former school, you'd probably get the OK to ship them over. However, few people on here are in a position to volunteer a chapter for this.
