I was a bad girl today, lol. Impulse buys at the Chanel counter... I have a new love! The only Chanel makeup i've ever had was a lipstick I bought when they did my makeup for a friend's wedding.

Here's what I bought:
Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow -got Lavende and Silvery

Sourcil Due Professionnel- Professional Brow Duo in Blonde

A shadow/liner brush

Aqualumiere sheer colour lipshine in Santa Barbara

The sales lady was so nice as to not tell me the total and to hide my receipt nicely wrapped under the tissue paper, bless her heart, lol. I would've bought more but I had to cut myself off. Their stuff is expensive but I love it!

What have you bought lately?
I am in LOVE with Chanel's loose powder.

My my my.

And I love how the Chanel ladies neatly tuck the receipt in the tissue paper in the Chanel envelope!

I remember when I received my first handwritten thank you note from my Chanel lady... what a sweet gesture!

What's a good liquid eyeliner? I've only been using it for a year (I was all about pencil before), and I want to branch out from Bourgois.

Have any bare escentuals users tried the new "Faux Tan" bronzer? I just saw it on the Sephora website..... I've been wanting them to come out with a bronzer but I'm wondering about the color... hmmmm.

I've recently fallen in love with Revlon's cream blush in Rosy Glow. I'm always horrible about picking out blush colors, but this is the perfect shade and looks great.

I also am really liking Maybelline's Sky High Curves mascara, even though it does kinda clump a lot.

Went to Sephora and checked it out tonight. It's a darker shade but looks like it would be very forgiving. I didn't get a sample, but probably should have so I could have played with it at home.

DiorShow Mascara

I really want to try it, but I have poker straight lashes. Will this mascara hold my curl when I use the eyelash curlers?

I think I might hit up Sephora tonight and ask for a sample. I've been addicted to the Chanel (Sienna for winter) and Nars (Casino for when I'm tan) bronzers for a couple years so I'm interested to see how this will look. I'll let you know

I was a liquid eyeliner devotee forever until I started using Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel eyeliner last year. It applies with a brush, doesn't glop when you're putting it on, (no more smudges when the brush touches your lower lashes) and wears just as well if not better. Love the stuff!

I love this stuff.. as well as Stila's smudge pots. I just recently started wearing eyeliner, but I love how they apply and look.

It's about time for me to buy a new foundation and I was thinking of getting the Bare Essentuals. The only thing is I'll have to order it from Sephora without trying it, so I was wondering what those of you who have used it think of it. Also, what color would I get for a golden light-medium tan skin tone?

I would get the medium starter pack thing...I can't remember what it's called. It comes with Medium and Medium Beige which are basically the same shade with different undertones. I use both of them depending on the time of year.

I started with the Medium/Med Beige kit and found out when I went to the BE Boutique in Cincinnati that I should be using Light instead. Go figure! I mixed in the Mediums over the summer with a tan, so the stuff is very forgiving!

If you want to try foundation samples before buying a kit, try www.colorfulsprinkles.com (free shipping code SHIPBE). Amazing service and great prices--no, I'm not associated at all with that site, just an extremely happy customer!

The lady at the Chanel counter got me started recently doing my eyeliner with a dark shadow and small brush. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the liner brush I bought from them- it was expensive, but worth it. I was in Sephora the other day and all the eyeliner brushes had fairly long bristles. These are really short, with an angle. It's a pretty small brush, but it's great control. Just wet the brush, then use it with a dark shadow (I get stuck with all sorts of dark eyeshadows when I buy sets, and they never look good on me) and use as a liner. I love it!
