I think about 75% of all salons here in Charlotte are Aveda. Or at least the ones worth going to.

 I couldn't agree more.

I was one of those girls too. I took a chance at Aveda and have never looked back. I even use Retinoid derivatives and glycolic a lot (meaning lots of fresh skin that doesn't need exfoliation). Usually, they won't let you wax if you use them the same day you wax. Even with Aveda, I have NEVER had a problem. With others, I lost chunks of skin off my lids- and I always went to a reputable salon.

I couldn't recommend Aveda more.

I was! But, it all worked out in the end. Skin grows back fairly quickly.

So in short, I went a little crazy with the plucking. They are nice and neat now, but they're also nearly non-existant and I sort of look like an alien. Any suggestions for how to grow them out without looking awful in the process? Is there any way to sort of plump them up with a pencil or something? Help!

My eyebrows aren't non-existant, but they are definitely sparse. I've tried pencils and HATE them. They make me look weird.

Lately I use Mary Kay's Eye Primer first, then tab some of Maybelline's dark brown eyebrow powder with an eyeliner brush & apply. The eye primer keeps the powder on all day, and the powder is a perfect match for my eyebrows.

Good luck
