Congrats on your five invites and your great attitude. Remember to give all of the chapters a fair shake this week! I know it sounds crazy, but because there are so many women in each chapter, any reasonable person can find her niche within any one of the FSU sororities. You're not joining a sorority to have 100 new best friends-- it is a sense of sisterhood and belonging. Know that the chapters who invite you back each day have seen something very special in you. Look closely to see what is special about each one of them!
Each day you will meet new ladies, so you never know when a chapter is going to completely wow you! Sometimes you will meet a sister who is just not a good rusher, someone who is tired, or someone who you really just don't click with. Don't focus on this one impression. Your impression of each house should be a sum of experiences: talking to various members, knowing something about their activities and programs and your overall feel of the place. Block out the tent talk. No one cares which sorority 13 other girls thought had the best skit. Continue to keep an open mind this week. It is amazing how many times someone prefs a chapter that was originally dead last on her list coming into this process, and it becomes number one in her heart!
