AOII to present at University of Arkansas

I know i am not an AOII but the U of A holds such special memories for me and to hear they are finally opening for expansion is exiciting. i am sticking close to this thread to follow the progress thru this week i can wait to hear how it all goes down for you all and i will get you all doing the hog call soon enough!

The first of the Parties went great. I think originally they were not expecting very many last night because the dorms were having meetings, But there were at least 65 girls that showed up( as my friend said "at least 65 because I know I had 64 chairs set up and we ran out" and all but 2 girls set up interview appoinments......SO everyone was excited with the turn out.

My daughter LOVED it.....she is very excited for the week to progress.

HogFan, thanks for sharing the update! I am happy that your daughter had such a nice time. It sounds like a fantastic turn out. The next event is tomorrow and personal appointments start Thursday. Best wishes to her.

Sorry I have not kept up with posting, but here is how the week has / is going.

Tuesday night was great, DD LOVES everything so far, The count was in the neighborhood of 82 girls, but not sure how many were returning and how many new, but good numbers and PNM.
DD won a AOPI coffee mug in one of the games....YIPPPEEE

Thursday/Today - Personal interviews began....and will run through the weekend. DD had hers today and " IT WAS GREAT" She said it was a very comfortable setting, very laid back and she and the interviewer BONDED when Grey's anatomy was mentioned For Thursday night sister meetings."...SO DD said to me...OK I know I LOVE this place...!! lol

She is at the Party tonight and I will post how that went when she calls me later.

Just spoke with DD they were on their way out to a pep rally....But I did manage to pull out a little info......

Tonight was a build a bear workshop...GREAT fun.......She said there were at least 100 PNM's there , "It was packed!"
