I thought I was going to go through rush withdrawal with no one rushing at FSU so was glad to see Nolegirl88's post. Wonder if Semimole Mom is out there reading, too?

NG88, this is my daughter's third year at FSU, second as a "rusher" and I know she is just as excited (and, as nervous) as you are about recruitment week. The sororities want to impress you as much as you want to impress them. From my daughter's experience, the very best advice I can give you is to be yourself and DON'T go into rush wanting one or two particular sororities. As my daughter told me during her rush, there is a house for anyone who really wants to be in a sorority. I know she was torn between several houses during the week but picked the one that was exactly right for her.

Good luck,

FSU Mom

thanks FSUZeta and yehornay! I am SO nervous, but it's comforting to know I'm not the only one. And good luck to your daughter! I'm definitely trying to keep an open mind, I know that I will end up in the right place, and that's all that matters. All the advice I've read on these boards has REALLY helped me prepare, I feel so much more confident now that I understand better what will be going on. But that's not to say I'm not still nervous
