LOL....I'm a civilian who is an "Honorary Captain" at San Diego State University's Army ROTC "Aztec Battalion". Last week I got promoted to Major.
(Though, they still haven't changed my rank on the tote board!) I'm an Academic Advisor who has been working with the ROTC for over a year now. This fall, I will be teaching a university seminar course for the freshman cadets.
My happy news is that, a few days ago, we finally finished commissioning the last of our c/o 2006 Second Lieutenants! Hooray for my new 2LTs!!!!
