I chose my local because my friends were going to go but then they decided not to and were like "hey go check it out and tell us about it" so I did and I was a little apprehensive because it was a sorority and had never really heard anything but bad things about the greek system but now that I'm in it I'm very happy and I feel at home. The dues are cheaper and we are somewhat small so I like that. But, we will be going national here pretty soon so I won't be able to say I'm in a local sorority for very long
