Oh gracious - speaking of heels...
I got so fatigued and dehydrated one day during rush that I fell down the stairs outside of one house! Wait, have I told this story on here before?? Oh well. Anyway, I was wearing sandal heels, so when I fell, there was nothing protecting my feet. So, I scraped one foot really bad and started bleeding. And it HURT. My Rho Chi was like, "Are you ok?" And, I said I would be ok...so she took off with the group while I was sitting on the stoop using a tissue to apply pressure.
They were just going next door and they had to wait to go in (as the sorority women prepared the frightening
door songs). So, I ended up catching up. Did I mention that while
in the house in front of which I killed my foot, I accidentally sat in a chocolate snack that someone had left in a seat? The room was dark so I didn't see it. So, there I was with chocolate all down my backside (I was wearing khakis) and a bleeding foot to boot!
Not a good day.
Moral of the story: Look before you sit and wear shoes that will hold you up when you're exhausted. Oh and make sure you driiiiiiiiiiiiink! We were all trying to look cute sipping our water but we ended up dehydrated.
