Is it too late?!

Hey up until a few weeks ago, I had no interest in joining a sorority, but a few things changed my mind (actually meeting people who have been in one, orientation, etc). I really still have no idea what it is really like, but I'm interested. Now I'm wondering if it is still possible to get everything done in time to rush, or is it too late? I registered with my local panhellenic, and I have a list of people to call for recommendations, but is it really possible to go through with it and not look disorganized/like a slacker? I'm feeling overwhelmed, but I don't want to regret not doing it.

Any advice would be appreciated!
